This program is directed toward Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Restorative Nurses and Restorative Nurse Aides (RNAs). Participants will understand why restorative nursing is necessary and how restorative services can make a define and distinct impact on almost every area of your facility's quality, care and culture. Participants will learn how to design a restorative nursing program that keeps the facility in compliance with federal law and state surveys and promotes keeping residents at their highest functional level physically, mentally and psychosocially. The program will also focus on how restorative nursing can impact the MDS, the Medicare RUG rate, the Medicaid case mix index. Specific training will be provided on integrating the multidisciplinary team with restorative services for carryover of services into everyday life and activities.
It is suggested that both Structuring Restorative and Restorative Nursing programs be attended by at least the Restorative Nurse and Restorative Nurse Aides to receive training on how the Restorative Nursing program should be set-up and why training is essential for the program. Register for both programs and save $50 per person.
